School Children Outing

Abstract/Description: Durham children gathered by the streetcar tracks in front of the Fuller School on the northwest corner of Chapel Hill and Cleveland Streets. The school, named for Bartholomew Fuller, was the second graded school for whites in Durham. It was completed in 1897 and was destroyed by fire in 1937.
