This digital collection consists of five scrapbooks containing newspaper clippings, histories, photographs, poems, memoirs, postcards, and yearbooks documenting Civil War history and the activities of the United Daughters of the Confederacy. The scrapbooks represent Durham’s Julian S. Carr Chapter of the organization, which was founded on December 20, 1899.
