Abstract/Description: Frank Wright (pictured at far right, died 1967) formed the BCNH dance orchestra around 1933. For 30 years, the Durham-based band enjoyed many successful performances around the state, including at the June German in Rocky Mount, double billed with Louis Armstrong.
